Autosure's MBI guarantees the repair of mechanical and electrical parts of your vehicle at a reasonable price. If a sudden or unexpected breakage happens in our vehicle, you can trust it to get fixed in no time.
Your MBI comes in handy when you have a problem with your car parts. Although it can be compared to an extended warranty, most automobile owners may benefit more from purchasing an MBI because they can get reimbursement if their coverage is cancelled.
Similarly, they can go to their prefered repair shop, costing less than going to the dealership. This coverage is transferable, which should be beneficial if you decide to sell your vehicle.
Get your vehicle insured today. Use glimp to compare MBI plans and find the best one that meets your needs.
Here are some of the benefits that you get when you purchase MBI for your vehicle:
This is Autosure’s standard MBI policy that covers repair costs of your car’s mechanical parts. You can also enjoy an electric vehicle package that covers auxiliary engines, inverter, dual charger, and your EV battery replacement.
If your vehicle breaks down more than 100 kilometres from your normal residence and the repair by an authorised repairer takes more than 24 hours, you will be reimbursed for reasonable repatriation costs to your normal residence or another location that's convenient to you, whichever is closer, up to $250 per claim.
If your vehicle breaks down more than 100 kilometres from your normal location and the repair by an accredited repairer takes more than 24 hours, you will be reimbursed for reasonable costs for hotel, rental car hiring, or return home transport, up to $500 per claim.
If you need additional coverage for your vehicle, you can opt for this policy that covers the folllowing:
If you're a direct seller of the insured car, you can transfer your MBI policy to a new owner with the approval of Autosure. The transfer of the policy may be restricted if the vehicle is sold to or through a motor vehicle dealer or trader, or if you've accepted a claim on your policy.
If you're dissatisfied with the coverage in your MBI, you can cancel any time as long as you have a writing notice. You must cancel within 15 days of the commencement of the insurance period, and you should not have filed a claim under your policy before. Otherwise, you won't be refunded.
Many car insurance providers sell this type of auto insurance to encourage owners of used or pre-owned vehicles to safeguard their vehicles regardless of the value or age of their vehicle. You can save money on repairs and other system failures if you get car breakdown insurance.
Getting an MBI can cover repairs for engine parts such as transmission, exhaust, brakes, modifications, and parts for air conditioning, steering, and fuel system, which aren’t usually covered by other car insurance policies.

Filomena had amazing customer service! She was very polite and respectful. She also was great at listening to my needs and offering solutions with options that had great savings. I would give her 10 stars if that was an option. If I decide to go ahead I would choose to go have her help me again. I have not had the best experience in the past with customer service reps so I would like to thank her for making this experience a good one. Kind Regards, Selena

Philomena was efficient, patient and helpful. She had good data at hand to provide me with comparisons between what was offered and my current costs. She did a good job
Thanks for the call and check in. You recommended I stay with my current provider as the rates were top notch. I'll touch base again in the next 12-18 months, you made it super easy. Great friendly and confident salesperson.
Very clear and concise information. Great price comparison for saving money on our monthly bills! Thanks Issac and Glimp! I can't wait to pass these savings on to my hard working family Adding onto my review as I think this is totally unacceptable to have people call you about switching companies and you agree to change and go through the process with Glimp and then get phone calls from supposed companies BEFORE you even get the email offer from supposed companies.
