AA provides coverage for specific mechanical and electrical faults that are not covered by regular ar insurance policies. Consumable parts such as nuts, bolts, screws, washers, brake oil, engine oil, gearbox oil, power steering oil, radiator and AC gas, oil filters, wheel balance weights, and similar items can be replaced with MBI.

This is AA's coverage for people who drive electric vehicles or second hand cars. You can choose between policies that cover you for 12, 24, or 36 months, with premiums starting at $499 for a standard vehicle. Premiums for European cars and vehicles in a special category can range from $699 to $799 for car coverage of 12 months.
Depending on your circumstances, you can insure your vehicle for $5,000 or $10,000. Both policies cover the costs of accommodation and return home travel in case of a car breakdown, as well as repatriation expenses, consumable item coverage, and AA roadside assistance.
You can choose between adding an EV coverage or taking out an EV MBI. For electric battery and hybrid vehicles, an Electric Vehicle Package can be added to either coverages. This includes specific conditions and cover parts such as auxiliary engines, inverter, dual charge, and EV batteries.
You have 15 days to review your policy without any obligation to accept or commence your MBI coverage. If you change your mind within this period, AA will return 100% of your premiums as long as no claims have been filed.
