First step is to get in touch with Vero, through 0800 269 252 or anznewclaims@vero.co.nz (new claims) / anzclaimsenquiries@vero.co.nz (existing claims) and inform them about your situation. Second is to submit your claim for them to review within two business days. Finally, you’ll get a decision and your Vero Claims Consultant will get in touch with you on the next steps.
The house insurance is more comprehensive, while the building insurance covers your home on specific events such as natural disasters, accidental glass breakage, breaking and entering and vandalism.
