FAQ
No. The core code of the wallet is not open source, switching to a closed source code in 2018. While this does mean that enthusiasts may no longer review the app to make sure it's free of bugs or malicious code, it also makes it difficult for hackers and competitors to exploit the service.
Currently, there is none yet but Coinomi does have security measures in place. PIN/password/biometric locks are available for the app’s Android and iOS versions, with the desktop version coming soon.
You just need to reinstall the wallet and use the “restore a wallet” option. Just enter your recovery passphrase afterwards. Alternatively, you can restore your wallet via key sweeping, which allows you to restore each address key by key. You can find this option on the top right corner of the wallet’s interface, under the “Sweep Wallet” option.
